Source-Ray, Inc. Receives FDA 510(k) Approval For The
Model SR-130 High Frequency Portable X-Ray System
BOHEMIA, N.Y. - May13, 2003
Source-Ray, Inc. announced today
that it has received its long anticipated 510(k)
approval from the Food & Drug Administration for its
model SR-130 Portable X-Ray System and will ramp–up
production for immediate product availability.
The Model SR-130 provides high
power, state of the art technology, system reliability
and low maintenance, all in a small footprint,
lightweight system. The SR-130 is designed with agility
in mind; its compact, lightweight construction makes it
easy for the operator to move the system effortlessly.
Delivering maximum mR/mAs, the SR-130 produces 3kW of
power that provides hospital quality imaging performed
anywhere, anytime a portable X-Ray System is transported
to a patient.
Since the SR-130 weighs
significantly less than other systems that produce less
output, it offers invaluable maneuverability around beds
and other essential equipment in tight areas where space
is at a premium. The SR-130 can be used in hospitals,
clinics, nursing homes, private homes, orthopedic
practices, sports medicine, correction facilities and
military field deployable applications.
The system’s 105 lb. net weight
makes it extremely easy to fold into a storage
position. Utilizing a small footprint, the SR-130 is an
ideal system to be transported in small vehicles that
are economically viable for Diagnostic Outreach
Services.
