A leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of innovative diagnostic medical imaging equipment in the Bohemia area has immediate openings for the following positions.
ASSEMBLERS
Electro-Mechanical. Should have knowledge of electronic components and capable of working in a production line environment. Must be a self-motivated individual and work well in a team environment. Ability to read bill of materials, drawings and knowledge of IPC standards preferred but not required
Sr. Technicians
Electronics - 2 to 3 years experience. Ability to test, troubleshoot and repair sub-assemblies and final products. Analog & digital circuitry knowledge with ability to resolve problems to component level.
AAS in Electronic Technology Required
Jr. Positions also available.
Engineers
Electrical - 1 to 3 years experience with power supplies and analog /digital circuits. High Voltage experience desirable. Must have good problem solving, prioritization and planning skills. Good interpersonal skills to interface with Design Engineering, Manufacturing
and Test departments.
Experience should include significant manufacturing/production support.
BSEE Required
Entry level positions also available.
Mechanical Engineer
2D and 3D CAD design of mechanisms, high voltage enclosures and test fixtures. Design analysis including stress, thermal transfer, voltage break down and high voltage insulation. Build and test electro-mechanical prototypes; collect and analyze data. Create detailed design specifications, bill of materials, ECN’s and work instruction manuals.
Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of stress and thermal transfer analysis. Must have 2 years experience in job, or 2 years experience as design engineer with high voltage or X-ray technology.
